Thoughtful gifts

My editor dropped by today with a little something from the office - a cash gift and a basket of fruit. It was really unexpected and very sweet - especially since I didn't exactly work there for long.

She offered me a freelance gig for the weekly health supplement, which they outsource anyway, and said that the job's ready to take up any time I want. How cool! I'll prolly start in Feb, just after the Chinese New Year break.

Mum's relations have also been extremely supportive and generous.Very grateful and almost embarrassed by the show of kindness and support...
